I am studying a PhD of Biological Science at UWA. My interest is mainly in blue carbon study in seagrass meadows. My research project will explore carbon stock and sequestration in seagrass biomass and sediments, as well as biogeochemical processes in these ecosystems. I will focus on Indonesian seagrass, with comparative study to Australian seagrass meadows. Furthermore, I will look up science to policy measure, mainly seagrass blue carbon for Indonesian climate mitigation strategy. The findings of this study will strengthen the baseline data for coastal ecosystems integration into climate change policy in Indonesia.
